Reappropriation of Berlin’s urban heritage

Project / OFFSIDE was started in 2017 to explore Berlin’s architectural heritage (past and contemporary) and how it is being (re-) appropriated by people everyday.

Urban spaces are enriched stages for actors to play roles of  ‘social belonging’ – interacting within an architecture of unique objects, histories and dreams.

These pictures re-enact the urban theater before my senses.

I am investigating ways to express how the photographic frame surrenders or disintegrates – within the literary (words) and the physical (photography) worlds.

Some images refer to cultural heritage while others will start to exist or (de) construct an image from their own architectural nature.
